Are you going to post every time you can't figure out something without calling some form of tech support?

I know you want to finish and get paid, but good grief.

I hate call backs. When Companies are backed up and tell me they will have to call back, I ask where do I send the bill for my labor while I sit with my thumb up my ass. You'd be surprised how often they find an available person. Also, I've asked for a RA # so I can just send the crap back then if they can't support it.

Hence why I asked here.....

I had this issue with 4 Sony players a couple months ago. Seems I had to delete the IP address under Properties, change to x70 as the player model #, then change back to x90, then re-enter the IP address so the MAC address would show up.

Personally, I have no problem with this type of post. If I can learn the solution ahead of time here then that potentially saves me a call to tech support in the future and that is worth a lot!

Same here, including a cheap unit from costco last night.
Honestly it's probably one of easiest ip drivers to install and get going.
So I guess the questions to ask are, what version of composer are you using vs. What OS is the controller running? Which controller model is running director?
For the network setup what are you using? ISP provided routers can be problematic
Is the bluray hardwired to the network? Have you configured the network settings on the bluray? Did you reserve it by mac address in the router? Is the firmware up to date on the bluray?
Is the bluray on when you're trying to connect to it thru composer? Where did you add the ip address in composer?

That's it. No one had a problem with the post. It was just a chance to bust Brendon's balls. Lol
