First phone call of the day I get chewed out by this B*tch because a coworker did not return her phone call and she lectures ME for 10 minutes. I kept insisting I just want to help her and sorry the other guy did not return her call. She kept going on and on and then hung up on me!!!

Then a guy comes in talking on his cell with two little boys in tow... he walked around the shop talking on his cell, and his kids were running free. After they left, I noticed they had pushed in the dustcaps on a pair of $4,000.00 Focal speakers!!! The dad wasn't even attending to the kids (too busy talking on his g*d damn phone). Pisses me off!

I think I'm going to order a martini at lunch! Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Retail --- some days I enjoy it, but today is not off to a good start.

Why do little kids have this magnetic attration to pushing in dust caps on speakers anyway?

Sir "You are now the proud owner of a pair of $4000 Focal speakers" congratulations!

In this case I guess you have to run after them!

You should have followed him around with a paddle. When the kids act up paddle the father.

Yeah, I always cringe when little kids come in the shop... They always do a beeline right for the tweeter and speaker domes... Makes me cringe! Parents leave them in the car please!

Yup! Man I was ticked-off. The father had to have seen him do it, and of course didn't say anything!

I can relate....

Did a stint selling real estate, and "the kids" thing came up way to many times.

One of the guys hauled this family around for days. The kids made an absolute mess of anything they got near (his car especially so). and they ended up buying from some other agency.

Me, I flatly refused to show houses to anyone that brought their children with them.

Your store needs a new rule. Children no longer allowed in the building.

Can't he just put a cage at the front of the store that the kids have to stay in while the parent shop?

What kind of idiot leaves a pair of $4000 speakers where kids can touch them?

It sounds like he works in a retail store, where would they put the speakers to display?

So why were you such a complete wimp and didn't say anything??? When I was in retail years ago, I didn't hesitate to let the parents know they were responsible for their kids.

Winner winner, Chicken Dinner!

Still, in a retail shop, you don't place $4000 speakers where every brat and deadbeat can lay their hands on them without supervision.
