When I first heard that OPEC decided not to change their output. The very first thing that ran through my mind was "what a brilliant idea." Give false hope to consumers. Make them feel comfortable, let them buy gas hogging cars/trucks again. Then once the market is flooded with them, jack the price of gas up again. Then it'll be 2008/9 all over again.

I stopped giving a hoot long ago. The price of gas is the price of gas whether I bitch about it out not. Same with milk, electricity, copper, water, etc. Bitching never made anything cheaper for me so I stopped bitching.

Whoa. What? You still have a 3 in front in that side of the state? I am shocked that on my side is lower than your's. Traditionally my side has been 5 to 15 cents higher.

The other day I spent $2.67. That's with a 10 cent discount I receive at BJ's wholesale club.

I filled my tank in my 2001 GMC Savanna 3500 10' cube van (32 gal tank) the other day and thought something was wrong because it only cost like $76 to fill her up on empty!!! I had gotten so used to never pulling away from the pump for under a $100...

Well... there are arguments on both sides... for and against, but that becomes fairly political so I ain't going there.

So, all the people on fixed incomes are nitwits?

Were you just getting by paying your house payment, trying to cover the HUGE increases in food stuffs, utilities, and such, you too would see this as a good thing.

You do know that medicare health insurance has gone up over 50%, right (thanks to all those pols that did no research and voted it in)?

Even if only temporary, this gas thing certainly helps.

I too enjoy the fact that my fill ups are no longer over a $100.00, and am very happy about it. Now I have more to spend on booze... ;-)

Right on time. You love to throw the political grenade and watch the collateral damage. You're so good at it, you even appear to not have a political statement. You'd think folks would be on to you by now.

Stealth. :)

Most of the time New London county is more expensive than the rest of the state. Going to gasbuddy. Enter 06384 and comparing it to 06339, you see 10 results in 06384 before getting into the price range of 06339.

Not that many manufacturers down this way. So taxes for the most part are more.
