There are so many din rail accessories! It looks to be becoming the next big thing in our industry. Everyone that i talk to that have tried it loves it and my next project I plan on giving it a try, but where to begin?

What brands and pieces are you guys finding most useful?

Considering the 1000's of parts please post links!

TIA!

Specifically im talking about speaker wires, data etc. I plan on using it as a termination point behind the rack so I can roll the rack in, connect it and be done!

We have been using terminal blocks for years on our larger jobs. It is not for a newbie to terminate. It is easy to install, but takes planning to properly dress the termination point. It can save a lot of space, but 120 connections in 15 sq in inches of space is it's own challenge.
Brands? I have no loyalty there. Best to find a good distributor you can trust to guide you to the better stuff.

Yup, speaker wire is super easy! i like panduits option for wire management but not enough room there for what we would be doing.

Stuff brings up an excellent point about wire management.

This is pretty common on yachts. We actually use the DIN rail stuff from Vantage. Makes it easy since the factory wiring is landed to DIN rail blocks.

DIN rail on the rear of the rack near the top, bundle comes in from above.

TBs aren't for quick disconnecting/reconnecting. SpeakOns better for that.

Brendon, I had a big long thread on IP about them.
I'll see if I can find it. It would have been about 20-22 months ago.

Found it.
I had to search for part number 70169573 and located a morphed thread:

B.- I can send you copy of invoices showing the parts I used.
At the time of ordering, Allied picked up new brand that was less expensive than what we all used before so I decided to try them and it worked well.
If I remember the thread correctly, I commented on part #s.
