I have a couple of SLS speakers that are distorting at a project. I want to try and get the ball rolling on an RMA tomorrow morning.

Can anyone tell me where i can find the serial numbers on the satellites? I usually know exactly where to look but for some reason i cant recall ever seeing them on the SLS speakers.

Yes. Sonance.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Yes. Sonance.

I just dialed their number and no one picked up. Nice try though. Maybe someone else with more experience will know the answer.

Sorry,
I can't be of much help WHEN YOU INCLUDE the make and model number! ;-)

Actually,I don't recall ever seeing one either.
Did they ask for it or are you just trying to be prepared?

Possibly a "system serial number" located on the sub(I hope not!).

Just trying to be as prepared as possible. Typical high profile project where we get 30 minute windows to perform complex troubleshooting and product swapping. I wanted to get the house staff to look for the serial number so i can get an RMA before i even get there. That way i can drop the product off at a shipping company on my way back from the first trip and get it back faster.

Your not going to find it, it should be under the "job name" when you submitted the PO. Im pretty sure they are internal and they just verify it when they get them in.

James is the same way.

Never have had a satellite go bad, customers cranking it to much or settings not set right? or just simply water got in?

back when i was a dealer i noticed their sats were starting to decline a bit in the overall quality of the build. had to send a few back on arrival due to the fit and finish not being up to par.

The serial number on the Sonance Landscape Series Satellite models can be found on the bottom of the speaker above the mounting arm. There is a sticker with a bar code above the serial number, such as 09310331433S 0012.

Please contact me or Customer Service to replace your Satellites through our RMA process. We'll take care of you right away. If you need any technical support in the future, call me at ext. 149 or Robert Miller at 141. If you get our voice mail, please leave a brief message and we'll get back to you right away--typically within 15 minutes.

Additionally, our field support specialist Steve Brookes can also help if you get voice mail here and need to reach someone right away. Steve's contact number is 210-725-9814.

If you can get with us this morning or early afternoon, we'll get the replacements out to you today.
