I was checking the description of this remote and one of requireents is: - Must be used with an active ProPanel license (minimum of one ProPanel license required on the system – new license not necessary).
Is this correct? I'm looking for a cheap one room solution but in this case adding the license defeats the purpose of using this remote.

The pro panel license isn't that much. The cheapest solution isn't always the best, how about an mx350 if you want cheap

Like Hertz said.....the only time you'd end a license is if you want to use an iPad. Standalone, no license necessary. Just be sure you don't need any ir sent direct from the remote since it's rf only.
