I have a client with 3 Panasonic IP Cameras that have been online and working for several years behind a Cisco router. Each cam has a Static IP address outside of DHCP range and each has its own Port number forwarded through the firewall for access via Panasonics Dynamic DNS service, Viewnetcam.
Recently, my client believed his router was developing a problem and replaced it with a new Linksys EA6900 / AC1900. I went over yesterday and emulated all the settings of the old router--DHCP range, port forwards, etc. in the new router.
All the cameras work when viewed from a client on the LAN and all cameras show as "active/online" in Viewnetcam's user account web interface. Attempts to connect to the cameras from outside of the LAN, however, fail with an inevitable time-out error.
Any ideas as to what's blocking these cams?
TIA

I faintly remember something about Panasonic cameras and Viewnetcam using UPnP. So it's possible that UPnP forwarded ports that you didn't know about. If you still have the old router you should be able to look at the UPnP config. Or just do the setup process again in the cameras and make sure UPnP is enabled.

There is a setting in the camera for the interval for updating viewnetcam with new WAN IP address. I believe the default is 60 minutes. How long did you wait before trying it remotely? Just a thought.
Can you access them apart from viewnetcam? Meaning if you go to http://[public ip address]:[port], can you access them?

Thanks for the thoughtful replies thus far. Viewnetcam update interval is 20 mins. 2 days later still cannot see them. The cams have reported to viewnetcam and it sees them as active/online.
When I try to ping the hoise IP address:port, the same time-out occurs.
I'm beginning to think TWC did not manage to configure the (also new) Arris telco/modem/router in bridge mode as was instructed and that it is blocking the port traffic...

If the modem's not in bridge mode then there will be double NAT going on. Should be simple to check if the Linksys is getting a routable IP or only a local one from the modem. Definitely check that before going any further.
