Who do you use? What should I expect to pay? I just hired my first full time employee vs paying as contractor.

Thanks

Paychex. They will offer you all kinds of services. I am lucky and have a great rep with them. I pay a little under $60 a pay period I believe (every two weeks). No idea if that is normal, high or low. What I know is they make everything easy. Every form I possibly need is already completed and available to download via my portal on their website. If you want me to see if my rep can find out who would be the correct contact in your area, I'd be happy to give him a ring.

Check with your business banker. We use ours, BoA, and they handle everything...all you do is input the hours.

Paychex too. I think it's 60 a month but it may be a pay period.

They are forth coming with charges so opt out of everything and you will be fine.

For what it is worth there are twice as many payroll service providers as there are trunk slamming integrators.

Paychex as well....be sure to have competitive quotes on hand ;)

If you've still got a mechanical time clock...be sure to check out
ontheclock.com. Powerful control, cheap and easy. You can setup some employees to be able to clock in remotely while others have to be in the office etc.
Technology is cheap, Time is expensive.
