No Ernie necessary........ Here it is [Link: amazon.com]I also now see they have red laser enhancing glasses which I didnt see when I bought the laser 4/13 [Link: amazon.com]Is this a 360 Deg unit? Also, have you tried this outdoor, and more importantly, does it come or can you get/add an outdoor active receiver? I need to be able to shoot grade 150'.

using 4 times? are you sure it isnt more cost effective to rent? youll get alot better unit than what you would purchase for less.

I figured that rental place probably charges $40-50/day for each rental. With pickup and drop off say 15 miles away, that means 60 miles. My Tahoe gets 16MPG, so that's 3.5-4 gal @ $3/Gal adds up to roughly $12 per rental.
Plus I'll have to find the time to rent the damn thing and dedicate a day to get the most out of the rental.
So I'm looking at roughly $300 if I rent it 4 times.
I think I'm going to try the mystery box from my first post. It's only $225 and if it doesn't work, I'll return it or dispute it with PayPal and my CC company. If it works half ass decent, I might even use it on a project or two, although I honestly can't remember the last time I did new construction where this would come in handy.
Thanks all for your suggestions.

I just went to a local rental tools supplier. One day rental for professional grade automatic level is $109 a day plus fees and taxes.
I guess I'll see how the no name box I just ordered does to see if it was a good investment or not.
