Anyone know if Onkyo TX-8050 has discrete power commands? We're doing a little job and I don't want to get burned on discretes for something so simple...

TIA

edit - URC's database does show a Power ON and Power OFF command... for whatever that's worth

May still be a toggle unit.

Why dick around with an Onkyo that may have the funtionality you need but will likely fail in the field when you could surely find a Yamaha that fits the budget that will definetly have the functionality you need ?

The 8050 has no issues. Where do you get your info on that model? It is a two channel audio receiver.

Fair enough re: it's only a 2 ch receiver. I get my info from everyone I know bitching about the crap that Onkyo/Integra puts out plus in the past having 2 full shelves on a pallet rack of dead units. Use them if you wish; not my cup of tea.
