Anybody that sells these regularly know if the big JBL logo on the center of the grill can be removed?

I'm planning to use a pair of Control 25's and an SB210 for an area around a pool.

Seems I still have a very long allen wrench that, once the JBL logo is removed goes through the hole to the back of the speaker and has something to do with the mount. This goes back to an installation of five or seven years ago, so others will have to chime in.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

As Tom hints, the logo covers a hole about 1/4" in diameter, into which you insert a long allen wrench to tighten or loosen the pieces that clamp onto the ball mount. You can remove the logo with your fingernails, pulling it straight out. It can be rotated to face up, down, left or right, but the speaker looks bad without it. If you must get rid of the orange JBL letters, paint it black or white, but the speaker looks wrong without it.

I used Control 25s around a pool. They lasted three years. They were near sprinklers and water got into them (more than a cup per speaker) through the ports behind the grilles. However, with more than a cup of water in them, four of six were working three years in! I filled the ports of another six with silicone, which reduced the bass output some, and replaced them.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

The logo on the SB210 is a little different.  If I remember correctly you pry the grill off and then the logo is held on from the back with two small screws.  I now for you you can remove it but as others have said the speakers will look better if they are painted and left in place.

The Control 25s have two screws beneath the logo that hold the grill in place so once you pry the logo off, there's an unfinished hole with two screws beside it.

Well, removed, painted and replaced.

I know: picky, picky, picky.

Or how about sell something that doesn't have a ridiculous logo on the front of it.
