This may have been discussed before, but what has been your experience with INSTALLS INC.?

just do a search. It would be more lucrative for you to sit at home and collect change out of your couch.

A kid who worked for me would take work from Installs when I couldn't fill his time. At first it was "great", until he accepted a job delivering except exercise equipment. Once he did that, it was all they would throw him.
I think it paid $150, no matter where he delivered to, and most times he had to pick up the equipment in Vermont, deliver to cape cod, NH, Maine or where ever. He needed a helper and basically paid the guy $10 per hour to sit in the truck until they delivered the equipment. Once he stopped delivering the treadmills they cut him off from the "IT" work, and when he restarted the exercise equipment he would get some "IT" again.
Total waste of resources.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

My guy reaction is yes, RUN!

But my question is this... Are you looking to install for Installs Inc? Or are you looking to use them as an event provider, using their network of installers.

I was part of their installation network about (+/-) three years ago, so some details are foggy. They don't pay that well. They pay as if you are getting paid as a helper, working for someone else. They are also strict on you (the sub) using helpers, but yet they say do not ask the customer for help. Then, Installs will try and send you out to hang a 60" plasma alone, with the TV sitting in a customer's garage and hardwood throughout the home. Good luck with that! (this was the last nail in the coffin years back for me)

If you are looking to sub, look at OnForce too...

Run. Run fast. The last company I worked for was signed up with them. The week I quit we had to go build a TV stand in a dilapidated single wide. There were about 4 places where I almost fell through the floor. The carpet we had to put the TV & stand on was completely saturated--i.e. it could not soak up any more--in cat piss. We also had to haul away the customer's ancient console TV whose chipboard base disentegrated when we tried to pick it up--from being saturated in cat piss. Never again.
