Have the Roku codes or modules changed at all? I have client that has one he wants me to add to the system, but he doesn't know what model it is and I'm trying to get this done. Hoping I can just use what I have and it will work .

We can't help you if you don't post the model numbers of everything. Ar you using RTI or URC or Elan or Crestron?
j/k As far as I know the codes have remained the same. I've installed Roku 2 and 3's recently and same codes worked on all of them, which were the same codesets that have been in URC IRDB for a while. I programmed both a MX780 and Total Control with a Roku 2 and 3 in just the past week.

They don't change, but new commands are added. Like new channel commands like amazon, vudu, and such.

Make sure it's not the one that plugs directly into an HDMI port- that one uses RF.

"Don't take up more shelf space in that closet where you'll never notice that you're taking up more shelf space! Instead, get this unit that requires you to use one more damn remote!"

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything. "The biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place." -- G. “Bernie” Shaw |

I haven't used the Roku streaming stick for anyone yet. But I think you are wrong on the control part. You can get the optional RF 'gaming' remote to go with it. But just the streaming stick itself, is like all other MHL HDMI devices, it works from the TV's own remote.
You can correct me if I am indeed wrong on this. But I don't think I am.

I just installed a Roku 3 and programmed an activity for an MX-5000. The (2) gaming buttons are RF and I couldn't find a menu item to change the remote to IR. This customer wasn't a gamer so she didn't care about the codes.
The current URC code set did not include buttons for Amazon or a Roku icon.

For the HDMI stick units; if you think about it, it makes sense for them to be RF. They are small enough that even the side(ish) HDMI ports of the TV would make the line of sight IR signal unreliable.
Obviously that sucks for us, but lets not forget how 98% of these devices are used.
