I'm a registered URC dealer and I don't see a link to download mx900 stand alone editor under legacy software tab. Got a bunch of remotes of there that have been done with the stand alone editor and my computer with the old software is no longer working. I can verify my URC user/pass if need be. Any help?

Thanks in advance

That's because it can be programmed in CCP. You don't need the old editor.

Search MX900 editor after you log into the control room. There's a dealer forum thread with a link to download it.

But like kgossen said, use CCP. The old editor is no longer supported so the IR library and firmware is no longer updated with Live Update.

sure it will. I've run into situations where CCP would NOT correctly extract a file from an MX-900 so I had to extract and edit the remote back in 900 Editor and then load the new remote up. Boot Loader Mode.

Of course, this was before I realized it was possible to import the MXEditor file into CCP as well... So technically I just needed to extract with MX900 Editor..

Are you just importing from the MX900 or is there a way to open a old editor file directly in CCP?

You can open old MXG files in CCP. You start a new file, and select Empty (No Rooms, No Remotes). When the System Configuration window opens, select MX900 and click ADD. In the bottom half of the Model Property window that pops up, select "Existing" and then browse to your .mxg file.
