A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

O Great Guru Om on the Range,
What grammar checking? Someone else made that image and I can't reach out to its place on the internet and add the required comma. (I  disappointedly don't add to my collection about a third of such cool or cute illustrations because of boneheaded grammar like that.)

What I can do is quote you and point out that you should have written
You know it's coming!

and "checking lol" is also incorrect, though how do you deal with that?  Do you add a comma before LOL?  And maybe use caps to ensure people don't read lol as a word rhyming with fall?

Plus, I totally expected a total pile of responses along that line anyway.

Excellent point, Bruce. Fortunately it takes all kinds of nerds, too.

ERNIE! I wasn't referring to the grammar in your pic or post. Just making jest at what to expect since it came from YOU. Then you go on your rant about grammar, LOL. Ironic maybe.

Careful, I'm about the only one that respects you around here. Any hatred I harbor isn't for you, LOL.

I was totally being ironical. In addition to the long-needed sarcasm font, we need a font that screams HUMOR! at the end of a paragraph. I suppose, since we can't indicate that in print, we can say we have a paragap.

I just read the title of this thread again. "You're a nerd if." I hear a new word in there. The word "pontiff" means bishop but is usually used to mean the Pope, and there's a place called Cardiff... bouncing off those two words, maybe the head nerd would be the nerdiff.

You're a nerdiff... it's its own introduction to a definition!
