Plug IR dongle into FireTV. Send codes to it with emitter or remote.

Or you can buy all three and get the codes yourself. enter 02049 as the code for that urc you are buying..
It works fine.

Just buy a FLIRC and an OTG power pass through cable (not needed with Cube). Teach the built-in FireTV profile any remote codes you want and call it a day.

Even better, get a USB 3 hub with built-in Gigabit networking and hardwire the FireTV at the same time.

I may be getting too old for this industry......please can you explain to an old dinosaur what these terms mean...?!!
What do you mean you wanted it on the other wall - couldn't you have mentioned this when we prewired?

USB On-The-Go (USB OTG or just OTG) is a specification first used in late 2001 that allows USB devices, such as tablets or smartphones, to act as a host, allowing other USB devices, such as USB flash drives, digital cameras, mice or keyboards, to be attached to them.
