Does anyone have the IR codes for the Amazon's Fire TV?
Thanks in advance.

There's no onboard IR receiver. You may be able to use a USB dongle. I haven't tried this.

There IR codes for this unit. I have a C4 driver that has them. I will extract them from the driver, but I was wondering if someone had done it already.
What I'm not sure is if any USB to IR dongle will work with it. I have a couple of them to try, but this one is the recommended one.

I can confirm it works with the USB to IR adapter. I got the kit shown in this link [Link: googletvforum.org]

I think only commands I couldn't get out of it were FF, REW, and the MENU button. The left and right arrows did work as FF/REW in the few apps I tried, just like Apple TV. The MENU key didn't seem to be that big of a deal- there is a HOME IR command that works similarly.

I made a Crestron IR driver for it if anyone wants it. It has the non-functioning commands listed above (left them as placeholders in case some IR data becomes available).

I was actually looking for the IR codes to create a Crestron IR driver, but since you offered to share the driver, please send it to [email protected].
I will try using the codes from the C4 driver to see if I can make those commands to work. If they work, I will send the driver back to you with the new working codes.
I'm going to the job site tomorrow Thursday.

Go it. Thanks.
I added the Fire TV to the system yesterday, but I didn't do any programming for the control of the Fire TV, since the customer wanted to use the Bluetooth remote because of the voice feature.
I'm pretty sure that it won't work the way he thinks it will, so at some point I ill need to go back and program the control of the Fire TV.

Were you able to get the C4 driver to work well with the Fire TV?

I just mentioned the C4 driver a s a method to get the IR codes. I was trying to get the codes to build a Crestron IR file.
By the way someone posted a Crestron IR file at the Yahoo Crestron Group yesterday.

I have to install a Fire today. I have that Media Center remote and IR dongle that supposedly works. I am using a URC remote and IR base station, so I'll either need to learn the codes from the remote into the URC or search around in the URC IR data base to see if they happen to have those Media Center remote codes.

Or I can uses hex (import using the Universal Browser) if anyone has those codes in that format?

I'm not familiar with Crestron or C4 codes to know what format they are in and if I can use them in URC CCP?
