It does feel good better yet great. I was just talking about how important a nice sale is to the overall health of a small business.
It allows them to: Pay employees allows owners and employees to save Pay for marketing Pay for vehicles and whatever other tools needs to make things happen
I make sure I tell my clients this very thing. Not to sound vulnerable.

It also allows an owner to buy a new boat increasing the collection to 5 and plan a trip, sell his own theater projector and replace with one twice the cost, while still telling employees how bad things are. Can do this only showing up for 3 or 4 hours only 3 days a week. Am I venting? Sorry. Why would you continue working for someone you hate that much, for these reasons?

My brother has been someone that has had a hard time dealing with bosses over the years. He has left pretty much every job on bad terms. His issue is he believes every boss is an a-hole and thinks they shouldn't be spending money on themselves. He had one boss that had his business for about 30 years. He bought himself a toy, a Audi R8. He went on for weeks about what an a-hole he is, and he should give his money to his employees. I simply said, "why?" You've been there what, 2 years? He built the business from the ground up.
If employees had even the slightest idea how expensive it is to run a business, maybe they wouldn't be so upset. I do understand there are some that do not treat their employees right, they are a different animal. Point is, an owner, especially a small business, puts in 4 times the hours an employee does, takes on all the stress, has all the responsibility, and rarely gets credit for paying his employees bills.

Oh, I agree 1000% I just find a lot of guys think that if a boss spends a cent on himself, he is somehow stealing from the company or the employees. I hear similar rants from guys of many different types of businesses and I just shake my head.

Yeah that is not very sensible, unless he is buying toys and not making payroll on time... otherwise I have no problem with what a boss owns for toys, etc. I just don't like bosses that are untruthful and narcissists.

True...But there ARE some horrible bosses out there! H o r r i b l e. THEN DON"T WORK FOR THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a difficult concept. Here is another revolutionary concept, if they don't pay you enough for you to be comfortable. Move on! I know, another one right?!?! I'm not necessarily "typing loudly" at you but my comment was made more in general. The thing people don't understand is that it's the narcissists who are the ones who are willing to take the chances. It's the odd personalities who somehow get people to buy into their concept. Again, if it's not a good fit, move on. I've never once had a problem getting a job, maintaining a job, or excelling at a job. Maybe that came off a little too arrogant..... I'm just getting more irritated with the latest cultural thinking of how bosses should be limited on how much they make and they should give everything back to their employees. As mentioned, go start and business and you'll see how quickly you change you mind. Done venting! Congrats Bruce?!?!?!!!!?!!!!

Congrats Bruce?!?!?!!!!?!!!! I've been a boss a few times in my career, so I've been on the other side before. I dont care WHAT they earn, but just treat your employees with emapathy and respect that's all I'm saying. Best boss by far I ever worked for was Len Tweeten who founded Magnolia HiFi... Super classy guy who motivated employees to work their asses of for him because we WANTED to, and led by example---- not out of fear or intimidation or threats etc. F that type of management.

Employee interview, "yeah, I can do that, and that, and that. I can do everything cause I am great". First week on the job, drills through walls, through floors, can't program a TV and cable box into a universal remote, and cannot get to work within a half hour of the scheduled start time.
