Looking for a netflix/amazon prime streamer with RS232 control and component output.

Can you find one without component and use a HDFury for HDMI to Component conversion. That is a tough combination.

The closest I can think of is a Yamaha Blu-Ray player but it doesn't have Amazon Prime.

Sony 1800ES Receiver

You could use a Tivo.. But you would have to go IP control.

or roll the dice on the HD Fury.

Tell us the context of your requirements. Why does it have to have RS232? I am assuming it must have component video output because the system is a dinosaur and you are trying to eek some more time out of it because the client has not heeded your persistent suggestions to upgrade. :)

Not anymore, at least in the US. Sony changed the firmware so that the video services don't work because US law requires the playback devices to support closed captioning for video streaming.

The audio services still work.

It would be behind a component matrix.

I prefer 232 because it just works
