I have a Schalge PIM400, M420 Mag Lock, Securitron EEB2, Card Reader.

Problem: the EEB2 won't give me timer function of 30 seconds to release the mag lock. Right now if you press the REX button it will disengage the lock and relock as soon as you let go of the button. Card Read side of things works fine!

I have poured over the instructions, looked for other diagrams, swapped wires, looked for security forums and no luck. Anybody see my error?

Red (from EEB2) to REX Input (PIM400)
Black (from EEB2) to GND (PIM400)
Green (from EEB2) to Red (from Mag Lock)
White (from EEB2) to Red (from Power Supply)

Black (from Mag Lock) to NC (PIM400)
Black (from Power Supply) to C (PIM400)

The EEB2 has a built in timer so you don't have to send a REX signal back to the PIM400.

All you are doing is breaking power at the EEB2. Follow the wiring diagram and you will be fine.

If you use a PB5 like this, [Link: securitron.com]

All you have to do is have power for the mag go through the NC side and use the NO side to send your REX signal back to the controller. Feel free to call me if you need help, phone number is on my site.
