So, I've received this stuff from someone, and I need to convert it to something I can use to program a URC MX900.
40BF7F0x020xFD0xFE0x01 Power Off 40BF7E0x020xFD0x7E0x81 Power On 40BF200x020xFD0x040xFB Input 1 40BF210x020xFD0x840x7B Input 2 40BF220x020xFD0x440xBB Input 3 40BF230x020xFD0xC40x3B Input 4 40BF240x020xFD0x240xDB Input 5 40BF3D0x020xFD0xBC0x43 ANT 1 40BE800x020x7D0x010xFE MUTE ON 40BE810x020x7D0x810x7E MUTE OFF
I've never messed with any of the Toshiba stuff so I'm at a loss with this crap.
Thx

How many DVD's have you seen with multiple inputs commands, mute commands?
I hope your question is a rather moronic attempt at humor, rather than you just being an azz....
NO, It's a VCR. That make you feel better?

NO, It's a VCR. That make you feel better? Beta, or VHS? I must have spaced and didn't see the inputs. Sorry if I ruined your freaking life by asking that question.

If thats all they sent you, then someone is either playing a joke on you, or they have no idea what they sent you because theres no way to translate that to IR codes.
Regardless, I've found that URC Codeset 465 has all the various dicrete codes already. They may be labeled incorrectly, but if the TV supports discretes, they work.

Thank for that. Going to give them a try. I kept looking in the URC files and kept finding codes that didn't have the input codes.

The necessary information is contained in the first 6 Hex digits of each function. Power Off 40BF7F is device 64 (40 in hexadecimal notation). The subdevice is 191 (BF in hexadecimal) and by convention when the device and subdevice add to 255 (FF), thsi corresponds to the original NEC specification, and we don't list the subdevice. The function number is 127 (7F). Note that the Mute commands are device 64.190.

NO, It's a VCR. That make you feel better? Don't be a dick. How many DVD Players have you seen without volume conmmands? ALL OF THEM. How many TVs have you seen without volume commands? None of them. The Mute command was a hint, but if the commands you list are all you have, then you can never use the TV(I guess it was a TV) as a TV. Look, if you want good answers, ask complete questions. It's like that.
