My favorite supplier carries that product. Here's what I found out when I reached out to Omnimount:
1. This issue occurred before (insert favorite supplier name here) ever had stock on the product. No customer of my favorite supplier is affected by this.
FYI – The CPSC required this press release. This is an issue from 2012 that was addressed and rectified over a year ago.
If you use that product and got it from a different supplier, you may want to check with them.

Fred - Your favorite supplier can walk there! We've done both electrical and data runs for Ergotron.

Yeah. We were surprised when Omni and Ergo got together. Ergo does nice summer picnics several times over the warm months.

FYI guys, the Omni Play40 mount I ordered in April of 2013 (and was delayed due to out of stock, so it wasn't an old unit sitting a distributor) IS part of the recall.
