I recently replaced two displays in two different jobs with 75" Samsung 71 Series.
I got a call yesterday from both customers that the displays are experiencing HDMI signal drop offs. This jobs were up and running for almost 4 years without any issues.
Is there any known HDMI issues with Samsung's that I should be aware of?
I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.

I had a job where the client installed a brand new Sony 4K TV. On standard definition channels the picture kept blanking out and on high definition channels the channels blanked out but less often. This was on a DirecTV box. I swapped out his HDMI cables to higher speed rated and the picture stopped blanking out.

It could be the larger, newer Sammy's are experiencing the same issue...
