Doing up a quote for a Crestron DA system. Customer has 4 kids and wiring is not in place for CEN-IDOCV's. The preference is to steam ITunes wirelessly from their phones. Would the best solution for this be an Airport Express?

will all kids be using their iPods/iphones at the same time? I haven't completed this before but not certain how multiple Airport Express' will work within a system if that is what you are asking. If you want multiple Airport Express' they may require their own name to ensure that the users can airplay multiple devices.

If you are just wanting to add a single option for the users to stream the Airport express will work.

If you have room in the rack a CEN-iServer may be another option with the iPod linked to a users account automatically updating when they download new music to their library. This will ensure that the music isn't being interrupted when a phone call, email, or a notification comes to the iphone/ipod that is using Airplay.
You can't fix stupid

Name each Airport with the kids name, match that up with the inputs on your DA and you are good to go. I have done 5 in one project without any issues.

^^^what he said. That will be the easiest(assume ing you have the room on your audio switching device to support all of the kids) and most cost effective way.
Don't read my answer. Someone else will go into great detail as to why I am wrong rather than answer the original question...
