Big corporate client looking to get rid of projectors in their production theater. They are leaning towards a video wall or a large monitor (if over 100")

I do remember they made 150" monitors a few years back, do they still do this?

I think Panasonic still makes a 103" plasma in their pro line.  They showed a 150" plasma at CES years ago, but I don't think it ever went into production?

incorrect, the 150" WAS in production and was actually at my distributors.

I want to say it was $150k or so, but there is a 153" right now that is over 350k!

Cool... I didn't realize the 150" ever made it to production.  I've uninstalled and moved around a 103" and that was hard enough.  Hanging a 150" plasma would take some planning!

Do a 3x3 55" video wall... Much easier to install than a 150" plasma.

Why not go with a super bright projector???

I recently did a Planar Mosaic video wall and was impressed with the system.

Just Add Power Video wall can now do non 16:9 aspect ratio walls. Check them out, they pretty much rule.

I remember seeing this too. I heard the first units went into a Ferrari showroom, FWIW.

That's the way to go... They're the only game in town that sells you a turn key video wall. Anyone else will have you parting together displays, mounts, signal distribution and processing...

+1. Existing customer is eliminating all projection in their new building. 55" 2x2 Planar video walls in larger conference rooms. 75" or 84" FPD in the smaller rooms.

4x2 configuration will give you two 16x9 areas. Remember that conference rooms are much different then digital signage walls that typically have custom content. Most people will bring 16x9 to the table for display.
