Now, Most of the companies have increased the numbers of time-saving devices and tools to make our lives easier. Also we are running our own business having specialized software is good thing too.

As a business owner, I like to research new productivity apps like Replicon, Evernote, Omnifocus, etc. All those apps are awesome, but it is the first time I see an app works so well done. Its time recording software from Replicon, it is more helpful for people which often have meetings, busy schedules and time management issues.

Replicon sucks. There is a bug in this software that wipes out your bank accounts and makes you gain 10 pounds. AVOID IT!

We have started using SimPro.

I'd be interested on hearing how you go with this - we've been looking at it for sometime but others in the company are reluctant to make the jump..

Might work for many businesses. Have a friend who runs a PC repair business with many staff and this keeps track of all his jobs, notes and files in relation to each customer as well as sending emails, texts and everything else.

I have been using Xero for about 18 months now, very happy and I have added Receipt Bank, nothing better than taking a photo or forwarding an email of an invoice and it is automatically synced with your software including dates, amounts, tax paid etc. No more keeping paper files for me,they are certified by the Tax Office here to keep your receipts electronically.
Wireless speakers? Of course Sir. Choose the colour and size you like. As you don't seem to think sound quality is important, I will not plug them in.

There are a lot of learning curves to this software and challenges that we didn't expect. The transition to this software hasn't been the easiest but that may be due to lack of knowledge as to how the software works. The biggest challenge we are facing is with stock and how the software adjusts the levels based on the job. Basically what is happening is that if a part is allocated for a job but isn't used on that job and the job gets invoiced the part won't move back into stock inventory which then the stock inventory is now screwed up
You can't fix stupid
