Do you guys have running water up there in WNC yet? ;)-

They always have had running water. It runs down the hill where they catch it in a bucket.... :-)

Plumbing spam deleted. (No, Hi-Fi Guy did not make a shameless plug!)

However looking simply at the title of this thread, I'm just waiting for someone to turn on their kitchen faucet while away, then lose WiFi and not get to turn it off for several days.

I always laughed when I saw that commercial. First, what purpose would that ever serve? Why would you want remote control of a faucet? That would be a complete waste. SO many times I leave the house asking "hmmm, did I remember to turn the damn kitchen faucet off?" I roll my eyes every time I see that lying ass commerical.

Having three kids, I would love a remote control shower though, complete with temp control.

As far as AT&T automating anything. I've worked alongside some of their techs on various jobs, and I can say with absolute confidence that I have absolutely no confidence in their ability to automate anything.

I'm glad this thread resurfaced, because this made my day.

What do kids have to do with that desire?

If Fins is twisted like myself, he would turn the water full cold if they were in there to long.

While the adult thing to do would be to just turn the water off, that's just not me.

Justification would be, while laughing your ass off, "when you pay the water/heating bill you can take as long a shower as you want, until then...)!

Having raised three girls it is my mission in life to embarrass them at every possible turn.

If you ask them I have been very successful in my endeavors! ;)

Two of mine still can't start the shower on their own and get the water temp right. All three are bad to get out and leave the water on. They also like to take forever. So I would flip the temp to cold to speed them up and for my own entertainment.
