I finally am starting to lose it. I just cannot seem to remember all the places I got those cool little dinguses that made it possible to make such a cool installation, anywhere from two weeks to a dozen years ago.
I could list the parts I buy in Quickbooks, but then I really should itemize the invoices and take inventory. Plus, the latest version of Quickbooks that I have does not allow you to search the database for words in a description, just for the actual part number.
Then there's creating part numbers. What a pain that is!
I started an Excel file for this and find I easily will have twenty columns of worthwhile information. This has the advantage of being searchable. Maybe something more modern, that can take advantage of tags, is out there.
I'd like to be able to write a good but concise description, name the manufacturer, the company that sold it to me, the price, suggested retail, dates last purchased, and then those tags.
Anybody?

Sheesh you really are losing it when you can't write a coherent paragraph explaining what the issue is and what you want!!!
But what little I gathered from this is "d-tools" will do all that and more
