Good Day to all,

anybody knows how to interface a RTI TC2 (2.4GHz) with a Crestron Processor?

If I use IR I can trig anything, but what about 2-Way communication?

Is the RTI is compatible with Infinite Ex?

Anybody has experience with this?

Thank you
Mauro

Glackowitz may have some insight for you. I believe he used to use RTI remotes with Crestron processors.

That remote is one way only; and it's 433MHz RF or IR, not 2.4GHz. If you want feedback you need to change to a Crestron remote or iOS device.

Look in the RTI library for the Crestron RF codes, Get yourself a 433 gateway on the crestron side, and program away. You'll have to add an older crestron touch panel to assign your programming to. Map the RTI buttons to the Crestron buttons.

Tweeterguy is right. One way only, and has to be 433 to work with Crestron. No joy for the 2.4.

There are several ways to use a RTI remote and Crestron.

Like Mentioned above..A 433Mhz RF remote and a Set of codes in the RTI library which talks to a Crestron 433 RF gateway.

And....a second way is to use a RTI remote and processor which talks to a Crestron system with a 3rd party software

I haven't tried it so not sure on setup of functionality so your on your own there

Good day,
I'm talking about T2-C+ that is 433 and 2,4. Do you mean 2.4Ghz is not usable?

So... no way to have 2-way communication with Crestron?

Are there any other RTI remotes can talk 2-way with Crestron?

Thank you
M.

Your original question did not have the "+" which does indeed have a 2.4GHz. The answer remains the same if you want feedback from Crestron you need handheld decices that are native to their control system...their own remotes and/or iOS devices running their mobile app.

Didnt try with a tx2 but it could be possible over its wifi. We did a couple jobs using RTiPanel w\crestron CP2E. Got solid 2way feedback from crestron lighting.
We the driver that Glack posted. Works well and is solid. You need drivers on both sides, and have to reprogram the crestron side to make it work.. So you need access to the crestron code and know how to program.

It should work with the tx2, but cant confirm 100% yet
