Goldenzrule, those guys are the worst. Good job getting out of there. My guy definitely has a strike against him. We'll see how it pans out over time....

Good luck. I hope for your sake it was just a one time deal. In my experience it usually isn't, but you never know.

Wow, Drew, just wow....I did a little snooping too, former Best Buy guy now selling real estate while HD Soldiers does the "automation" installations (with their fancy FB page :-) I'm sure that's a great system!

Did you read this one?

He seriously installs equipment at "dealer cost" to make an attractive sale for the customer. I actually know him as we went to rival schools and share a lot of mutual friends. It's probably why I hate realtors so much!

Ha, I saw he was on your end of town. I found this link...

Seriously though, do people buy into that s**t? I have two kids, and if I was moving I would say something to the point of I don't need anymore boxes of anything! We have too much crap already.

Why not give someone an iPad and call it a day, or a Home Depot GC or something *customized* for the client.

Has anybody had luck receiving the subs even though they're backordered?

I need one for next Wednesday.  I don't want to order it, not get it, then have to pay retail to stay on schedule.

Has anyone else noticed that they only list large retailers on their dealer page, now?

Myself and other integrators used to be listed, but now it only shows Best Buy, Target and a couple of large contractors (these contractors have contracts with Toll Brothers and other large building firms and no retail location), that don't have a retail showroom.

WTF?

They are arriving with a matte finish. I got five last week.

That happened quite some time ago.
And my sales fell off too. Not to happy about it.

WTF?

its because your not gold. I did an insane amount of business with sonos last quarter but only "signed up" 14 homes....need 15 to be "gold"

This gold level program burns me up.

I just ordered 7k of sonos yesterday for the holidays. hoping to get the sub in 1st or second week of december.

BTW-FYI: Gloss finish sub is permanently discontinued as per my rep and district rep. matte subs for now on!

Fine by me, most of my clients withs sonos subs shoved them out of sight!

Matte subwoofers are fine with me.
