anybody controlled russound via procontrol? i cannot get the two to talk!! thought this would be pretty straight forward. adding procontrol to an existing mca-c3 that we just replaced from lightning damage. updating mca firmware now, but i dont think its that. tried null and straight through cables, set to 19200

 I just looked at my HAI files that have CAV, CAM and Sphere installed. All use 9600.

the mca has user selectable baud rate. you obviously also set it on procontrol. ill try 9600 on both. this is bullshit. should have taken 10 minutes.

We just updated a system by adding a Autonomics MMS-5A. There were three zones controlled by a Russound CAV44. Control was via an RTI T2C and RP6 over serial. It worked, but we basically used the commands already in the file. I will have to take a look at the serial settings.

got it. russound controller is on RNET, not RIO. I just assumed it would be set to RIO not there native RNET setting!!!! thats what i get for assuming
