Have a Sunbrite TV in an outdoor living area, 65", don't know the model number but its the only one they have, I think.

Using a MXW-920 because of the pool, and the CCMoblie app as well. Sunbrite discrete codes are in the URC database.

The ON macro works fine. TV on, receiver on, jump to page, all good.

The OFF macro doesn't because the discrete off code won't work when combined with other codes, any code, even a page jump. The off code works fine by itself. I even found a power code that worked from another model in an attempt at a work-around. Both work on their own, neither will work in a macro or with even a delay or page jump added.

I have tried putting the code first, last, in the middle, various combinations of delays, you name it, no go.

In desperation I had the OFF macro shut everything down but the TV, then jump to a separate page with the off command by itself on a button, so that the TV could be turned off without the customer going to the TV page. When I added a jump back to the Main page to the button with the Off command, it didn't work. Delete the jump, works.

WTH? I've had codes that didn't work before, but nothing like this. Has anyone run into something like this before? Any suggestions?

TIA

Here's how I do it.... I import each sunbrite command I need directly into the macro via universal browser. I then uncheck the repeat while pressed option and finally I increase the repeat from 3 to 20.

I got the hex codes via a google search for sunbrite hex codes

Holy crap this was a PIA. The amount of time and money this issue cost us was insane.... Let me clarify my post a bit.

1. Get the hex code for sunbrite power off (I found it via a google search) and import it directly into the macro using the Universal Browser.

2. Once in the macro, double click the command in the macro window. This will bring up another window where you can manipulate the command. Uncheck the "repeat when pressed" box, then up the repeats to 20.

I did this with an MX780 using CCP s/w. I can send you the device file as well if you need it. Please e-mail me via the address in my profile. I don't check private messages so don't bother with that.

All you have to do is use the codes in the database and set repeats to 30. Works everytime. Have done about 15 this summer.

I've never had very good luck with sunbrite using ir control. I remember my first one I had to send RTI the codes and let them try to deal with them. Just recently did a T2B with RP1 with some issues again.

So does all this BS work with RTI, 30 repeats etc.?

Awesome! Thanks vwpower44! I will try that when I go back on Monday to finish.
