I'm looking at getting setup with them.
Anyone have anything good/bad/ugly to report about them?

I've done two systems. Wonderful, awesome, has a fancy app, marvelous.

In three years.

One is in my house.

Did I say it has a nice app?

Yes I did become a dealer a few years ago. I'm not bagging the company at all.

Part of the problem is the depressed economy as well.

But I've sold one system in two years. It's hard to justify the cost with the result to a prospect. I'd love to put in a ton of these systems, I think they're cool.

But after you tell a client how much it costs, then they realize that it doesn't actually do anything... they lose interest.

I am also a dealer.
Hard to sell in this area, but a wonderful product. Especially now that the thermostat control is now working, the selling is easier.
Going forward, my next move is to lease the systems for a set contract period and try to roll it with another service contract. Install and removal fee up front with just a monthly payment after that.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

GotGame, I was floating the idea of leasing the equipment as well.
I can imagine that businesses have no idea where they use and sometimes waste electricity.
Installing a system for 6 months to a year might give them a great insight into how to figure out what's necessary and what's a not.

Hell, in my own house I'm paying way, and I mean way too much for electricity.
I'm not going to spend hours adding up light bulbs and looking at back of equipment to see what the power draw is. If on the other hand, I had PhD installed, I could look at what the living room draws vs. kids bedroom and/or any of the 3 AC units.
I could then make some educated decisions on what to do about it. After that, it would most likely hardly get used, unless usage changed.

Looked at it for a while. great concept and idea. Wanted to push it but didn't even try. Now Crestron has their Fusion solution so I move towards that.
