I use these all the time in commercial setups. Just remember this thing is DEEEEP so you will need substantial room behind those ceiling tiles.

I have installed a few of them in outdoor resi/commercial jobs. Sound good for what they are. I've decided the 8ohm version doesn't sound much better then the 70v version so save yourself the time and yet the 70v. Spend some time eqing it especially if you are using a CDi

Ok.....so any recommendations for an in ceiling sub.....above ceiling is the attic so i need one that is an enclosure or has a backbox or can....and less expensive than triad. Small media room takeover that already has 3 niles in ceiling speakers for front lcr.... Putting in rear surrounds and sub, all in ceiling

Put 8 in an MLB clubhouse and they sound pretty rad. Used a crown 70v for the C25IC's, and then used two CDI amps for four subs each. Sounds greats. better than just the 70v IC's they had for the last 10 years.
