I didn't bring my mini down, decided to take my brothers jeep instead. We took an off road trail off of Cades Cove and dropped us in the middle of the dragon. It was incredible, even in a jeep. Really wished I had brought the mini down it lives up to its name. If your not paying attention it will bite you, and hard!

So did you ever find a decent beer? Nope! Tried smokey mountain brewery but they didn't have much in the microbrewery department. Pretty much just drank sierra Nevada all week. I'm going to plan on spending a few days in Ashville the next time I'm down here, whenever that will be!

Yeah, Asheville is where you'll find good breweries in that area. As far as moonshine, commercially produced shine, is not real shine. There are 2 quarts of WV's finest in my freezer right now.
Your best bet for good beer when you go to Pigeon Forge is to just stop somewhere along the way and stock up. Like others have said, that place is horrible.

Hey, don't make fun of my northern neighbors. it's like two hours away...
There is nothing better than walking the strip on Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg and hearing the southern mating call...
usually you see some dishwater blonde staggering and hear the...Oh honey, I'm drunk....
the south at it's finest!!
