I have done several jobs for a designer that owns a Niles ICS System. I do not sell nor am I certified for that system. He is selling his house and his buyer wants to add a sonos connect to the system. He has (3) IM-Audio Cards. Cable Box, DVD, and CD player. I would like to remove the DVD player and from the ICS System and hook up a Sonos Connect.
I have downloaded the Intellifile 3 software from thier website. Is there anyway I will be able to change the name of the DVD source to Sonos? I already called niles and they put me in touch with a sales rep. He stated that it probably isn't worth it to get certified because they are selling all remaining stock and discontinuing Niles ICS. I would rather deal with this myself rather than bringing in a third party for the obvious reasons.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

You need the Intellifile 3 programming station. Without that you cannot access the system. Ask Niles to direct you to the closet dealer and then call them and ask if you could borrow their little black box. I'd let you borrow mine but I don't know where you are :)
