I can control the system with an IPad, but the MacBook won't even bring the app up. It says sonos quit unexpectedly. I go over to the iPad and no problem. Customer did say they updated the system yesterday. I tried unistalling sonos and reinstalling on the MacBook. Any ideas.

have you tried to delete the sonos software and then reinstall it? maybe it got corrupted in the original download & install. I doubt it, but odd things like this can and do happen.

Also is there more than one SSID being broadcast? I ask because, as today my wife's iPad would not connect to our C4 system until I told the iPad to connect to a different SSID (on the same WAP) and then suddenly it was able to connect.
It was not a C4 issue as my phone was able to connect immediately to the system, which is what made me try a different SSID.

It won't even let me reset the controller on the Macbook. Comes up with a bunch of computer code. I have tried uninstalling it and reloading the software on the Macbook. There is only one router, so everything should have the same SSID right?

I don't remember the solution but if you go on the SONOS forums this is talked about and it is an easy fix within the networking settings on the computer. Just go to the forums and do a search for Mac/Apple and it should pop up.
