Just curious if any of you have sent an edible arrangement as a thank you and housewarming gift. Just finished up a fairly big retrofit and the clients are having a housewarming party next weekend. Thought it would be nice to send them something since they have given my name to their friends and already have 3 signed contracts and to thank them for their business.
Thoughts, Ideas?

I've sent and received them. Meh. Bottle of wine would be better use of your money... If they drink wine.
Me personally? Save the candy jewelry flowers and wine and get me iTunes cards or socks.

Succulents are really popular in Santa Barbara. They're also low maintenance and hard to kill so they make a great gift. Here's one I got for a client house warming gift at the end of a 1+yr whole house project. It was about $300, but you can get some nice smaller arrangements for $40-$100. You may not have succulents in your area, so maybe a nice orchid plant?

Give them a gift that keeps giving, like a bluray collection of their favorite actor or movie series. I just finished a 10k theater and got 9 disc set of StarWars. Client could not be happier as they never had a bluray player and therefore no disks

Along with an end-of sale restaurant gift card; At the end of each year I send my better customers a $50-75 assorted candy/cracker gift basket between Christmas and New Years/ I Gave 12 GOOD customers a bottle of 2002 Dom Perignon to enjoy on New Years. They were pretty impressed and are able to tell all their friends at the new year's party who gave it to them! Pays back multiples!

Edible Arrangements...? I thought this was the conclusion to your other thread on IP :)
I sometimes do unlimited Netflix for 6 months, gourmet popcorn baskets with the the cooker and all the spices and oils, etc.... I've done wine... Something for them to enjoy their theater or music....

Try and find out what 1 or 2 of their favorite things are. I did a bunch of business with guy last year who liked to hang out and drink/party/entertain by his pool. I found out what his rare occasion, high end drink of choice was - good whiskey. So I bought him a bottle. It's different for everyone, but for the really good clients, it's worth digging, make it special.

Depending on the client we always do a basket with a couple bottles of wine. Personalized labels of corse. Screen cleaner. Microwave popcorn. A Blu-ray Disc 2 bottles of sparkling water and a card. Baskets also include coupons and gimmes from trusted colegues such as a local handy man. A cleaning company. Landscaper dog groomer resturant and more.
Other great clients get an engraved iPod touch.

I was talking about this with my girlfriend today after looking at this thread. One thing I think would be a cool chachkie to send along with a more serious gift would be something like this. I'd look into getting some made with my company name and logo on it.

I looked once and could not find anything good. Instead, I went to the local mall and found a specialty olive oil and balsamic vinegar store. Got their top choices there and it worked out great.
