Looking at a clients home that currently has 2 of these not working at all. Does Sonance still make this piece (not a Sonance dealer) or does any one else know of a current model alternative? It seems Niles discontinued their piece

I dont think I've ever seen one of this break. Might want to throw it on the bench and make sure it's really dead. If the levels are not correct, it will not switch.

The step-up ASAP3D has IR controllable volume which makes it a better match for newer TVs that don't have variable pre-outs. If it matters...
