Hi.  I'm new on this site, i'm a consumer, and i am realizing I am unsure about which forum to post my question on.  Any guidance about that will be appreciated.

I have a Lennox central AC/heating unit on my roof, installed in 2005. It has a controller on the wall in the living room which is not operated by remote control.

I would like to ask if i can have my controller replaced/upgraded to one that is operated by remote control, particularly an RF controller that can be operated remotely from other rooms.

Thanks

Why not look at the Nest thermostat.

It's all the rage right now for folks without home automation systems.

thanks for the suggestion. So far i've read some reviews of the Nest on Amazon. Most reviews are very good. Apparently, there are some pretty serious known issues. Sounds like the Bayweb thermostats are pretty much the same thing, gives more options.

I have had a Nest for about 16-18 mo now, I can adjust it via iPhone, iPad, PC at home or anywhere I am.I haven't had any issues, ones I did have that were fixed in a few days. Tech support is awesome.
