Installing my 3rd DPI division Scope. Works great. Good picture. Wish it was a 3 chip solution

You would think a company such as JVC (which makes its own imaging chips) could come up with a 3-chip scope solution. I'm hoping to see something like this in the future.

I believe that there is some kind of deal worked out with The chip maker for limited exclusivity plus I'm not sure if 3 chip LCOS has anything to do with a 3 chip DLP projector. From what I've seen every 3 chip DLP projectors blows the 3 chip LCOS (Epson, JVC, Sony) out of the water in my opinion
I just feel that at 35k for the Dvision Scope if they would make a 45-50k HIGHlite 3 chip DLP I could get more installed
I love not having pin cushioning issues and a motorised sled that could potentially fail

Can you outfit the Dvision with a short throw lens? I just walked a job today where we will need a short throw 2.35:1 solution. Any of the JVC derivatives have any short throw options?

How short a throw do you need? The Dvision scope has a wide variety of lens options [Link: digitalprojection.com]As far as I know there are no lens options with the JVC other ten the standard lens. I believe 1.8-2.8

I will look at the drawings when I get a chance.
What are you thoughts on picture quality difference between the JVC and the Dvision?
I see the brightness is much higher.

Send me a PM and we can discuss specifics before we go to far away from the original question in this thread
