Another big fan of their longtail tees. Thick material and comfortable. I never seem to get too warm in them and when it's cold they're way warmer than regular tees.

I wear http://www.511tactical.com/ Taclite Pro pants just about everyday. I got a pair for shooting/concealment and ended up purchasing several other colors to mix it up. These things are very durable and comfortable. and at $50. affordable. I stopped buying jeans altogether.

+1 on the 511 pants although I prefer the Stryke Pants.

they look like regular kakis but the fabric has a bit of a stretch to it so when you contort yourself to get into some of the wonderful places we get to work the don't bind up.

The Duluth stuff is wonderful, though not easy to wear on some summer days here in Los Angeles.

...What's the angle on that photo? Is that head-on and these things have a kind of sporan?

And tactical? A flashlight is called tactical when it's built in such a way that it can be used as a weapon. The classic way to do this is to extend the front of the case around the bulb so it could be smacked on someone's head or eye socket to hurt them. How do you make pants tactical? They DO look almost bulletproof, though!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Anyone look at the Blaklader pants? I was thinking of the bantam work pant.

Here's a review on them:

I've been going through their website and I think their stuff looks way cooler than the others. Jackets, pants, shorts, etc.

Been using the bantam w/ utility pockets for about 2 years now and they work great! Utility pockets really come in handy and will tuck away inside the regular pocket when not needed. Kneepad pockets are amazing, no more straps! Such a big fan that I bought 6 pairs for myself and 2 pairs for each of my guys.

I have both the 5-11 and the stretch fire hose.

The 5-11s are a little more comfortable, however all three of the pairs I own have the stitching at the knee coming loose.

The fire hose pants are much better constructed then the 5-11, the seems are all triple stitched.

I will be buying only the Duluth brand from now on.

their new fast dry pants are really nice as well, they will be perfect for the summer.

Deluth? No. Duluth
Carhart? No. Carhartt
5-11? No. 5.11
Just in case google can't figure out what you're looking for.

Ernie,
The pants are called 'tactical' because of the size and placement of storage. Pockets for knives, clips, mag lights, etc. Which happen to also fit multi-tools, mobile phones, etc. very well.

+1 on the 5.11
I like the ones I have (3 so far) and have had them for 3 years now. Still going strong.
