Need some nice workpants and after seeing all of the Deluth commercials figured i would take a look at what they offer. Priced right and look really nice especially for monkeying around attics!

Don't be fooled by their advertising.  If you're interested in buying them because they're made in the USA, the vast majority of their stuff is imported.   They have 2 or 3 things that are made in the USA.

I can't speak to the quality of the Duluth stuff..., I'd look at the Carhartt Made in USA line. Best Quality out there and the same price.

And for the best piece of clothing advice I can give you.....Buy Snap On socks.

Yes, Snap On has socks...Best socks on the planet.

That's all I know about clothes.  The end.

I like them. I got them for myself and my 2 techs. I supply my guys once a year with shoes and pants to keep a professional look. Last year I went with 5-11 tactical pants. This year I went with the Duluth because of that damn commercial (sucker for that stuff). I saw one of my guys wearing his 5-11's the other day though- must say something. The 5-11's have have adjustable waists, open rear pockets, extremely durable, plenty of pockets, and look professional.

I've looked that them for years but have never broke down and ordered a pair. Mainly because until recently they didnt use real photos of their products. I once decided to roll the dice and try a jacket from deluth. Based on the artist drawing, I had two different expectations, one great and the other complete crap. The jacket arrived and was an exact piece of crap I envisioned as the second possibility. After that, I have been afraid to try any more products from Deluth.

How do they compare to Dickies? Even though I hate the fit, I have yet to find anything with the durability of the work pant with double knee panel from Dickies. Even after 6 months of crawling and prewire, I can still pass them off as dress pants in a bar.

Anyone look at the Blaklader pants? I was thinking of the bantam work pant.

Here's a review on them:

I've been going through their website and I think their stuff looks way cooler than the others. Jackets, pants, shorts, etc.

From their website:

"If you're not 100% satisfied with any item you purchase from Duluth Trading, return it to us at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price. Simple, unconditional, no nonsense, NO BULL."

I don't see any reason not to try them if you are interested. I think I will order a pair. Nothing to lose.

Thick durable material. I love how they did the knee. They dont bunch up behind your knee when you are kneeling down.

I love the Kuhls. The material is very comfortable, but its not as durable as other stuff, like Carhart.

I can not stress enough how great of a purchase these pants where.

I got the "Flex" fire hose due to the Vegas heat and I can not say enough good things about them.

Here is the kicker. I purchased 2 pairs about 2 years ago. I have wore a few holes in the knees and just decided to return them for a replacement. NO BIG DEAL. I have done that at least 3 times. I figure I never have to buy a pair again. Just keep returning them when something wears out. It is their policy to have "A No Bull" replacement. If I don't like the color after a few washes,BAM, return them for a different color.

Also. I am a big guy. These pants fit prefect in all the right areas. Their advertising is spot on.

I even have a few pairs for my after work attire.
Don't read my answer. Someone else will go into great detail as to why I am wrong rather than answer the original question...

I have been buying Duluth products for years. I have a pair of their fire hose pants on right now. I use the cargo style pants, great pockets in all the right places. I also use their cargo shorts. I have a hard time buying pants that fit, Carhart just do not come close to fitting me, they are made for people with chicken legs, and the Duluth stuff is great. Go with Duluth and you will be happy.

I bought the lightweight (not-fire-hose) work pants, and they've been fine. I am a big fan of the longtail T's. Nice heavy material.

My favorite pants for the last while have been Riggs by Wrangler [Link: riggsworkwear.wrangler.com]

I still like the Carhartts light-duty even though every pair I buy seems to get ruined in the first month. Luckily where I've been working, no one cares what you wear. The Double-Fronts are overkill for just about anything except the welding shop, but they do last forever.
