Just ran into this issue today. Airplay disconnects from Denon after approximately 10 minutes of use. Had to listen to a client scream at me for 15 minutes because I recommended your piece of sh!t. Client is using an Airport Extreme for router.
Denon consider yourself dumped.
I'm so tired of this BullSh!t I'm ready to close up shop and quit. I know Matt will read this, I hope somebody else from Denon does. I certainly hope other manufacturers read this as well. Because I'm talking to everyone of you.
I'm tired of your junk. You're killing me, my company, and my bank account. We bend over backwards so that we can become "dealers" just to have our throats cut by some idiot on the internet. When we do get the privelege of providing the equipment, we end up losing our ass because you Mother F'ers can't make something that works for more than 3 months. I F'ing hate you. All of you.
Please don't say.....Oh, I've not heard that before....or I'm sorry nobody else is having the same trouble. It's bullsh!t, you know it's bullsh!t, I know it's bullsh!t, so stop bullsh!tting me. You make garbage.
On top of that, when we send something back because it's still covered under warranty, you have the F'ing balls to charge us shipping....WTF! I hate you Mother F'ers!!! Every god damn one of you. I've gotta pay shipping because you don't know how to do your job? F' YOU.
At this point, I'm simply going to give my clients a shopping list of possible choices....I'll let them loose on the internet, they can pick what they want and I'll install it.
That way I can say to the client...I didn't provide it.
Did I mention I hate all of you? Hate is a strong word...I f'ing hate you.
I'm never coming to one of your new product releases.
I'm not filling out anymore papers so I can be a "dealer"
I'm not attending any events.
I'm not attending webinars
I'm not filling out email surveys.
I'm not buying your shit anymore.
F You.
Bridge burnt bitch.
Unfortunately Ive felt this pain too many times and I'm glad you actually said the things i'm sure many of us have always wanted to. Especially lately.
B/T the countless hours of troubleshooting, the trips back and forth, the swapping equipment out, the lost money and the complete aggravation I can finally say I have purchased my last Denon. After MANY years of supporting a company, we are moving on to better things. My Total Control jobs will get the DMS-AV and my non TC systems will be getting the Yamaha Aventage series. Looking forward to reliable equipment again.
I'm so sick and tired of looking/feeling like an ass or just thinking that my clients may be questioning my competence or whatever b/c the equipment I provide can't just do what it's supposed to do! Regular, basic installs. I'm not pushing these units to their max capability, or trying to make them do more than they're designed to do. They're basic Surround systems, once in a blue moon a zone 2. I just want the basics to work. That is all. Do what your made to do, and not just for a brief moment.
Since I can't get a reliable AVR from you, I will just get them from another company. And so will MANY others.
