I have an AVR1913 in the field that I was having some issues with and recently Airplay stopped working. Now today I installed a 2313 that seems to work fine so far - fingers crossed - but I couldn't get Airplay to work with it either. Both AVR's are online and streaming internet radio w/out any issues, both can be controlled with the Denon remote app, but I can't get airplay to work on either of them. Any ideas?

People use airplay?
I had this issue on the last Denon i sold before i moved to Marantz Exclusively. Simple processor reset did the trick, I haven't heard a peep from them since!
Edit: Ohh! and make sure the iOS device is updated to the latest patch and the AVR have the latest firmware installed!

Unfortunately my one client loved using his Airplay with the Denon. Just a simple surround system, no zone 2. He said it was one of his favorite features, so that definitely sucks that it stopped working.
I tried the processor reboot and AVR FW update. Both my iPhone and my clients are up to date with software. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, I've run into issues personally with it. Don't know the fix. I just started dropping AppleTV's on all installations to remedy the issue. It'll give them video too.
And yes, people use Airplay. It's friggin awesome.

I found the fix. It's not in the manual. It's a feature called Yamaha.

And yes, people use Airplay. It's friggin awesome. I'm right behind you. Next week, I'm adding an Apple TV to a system with a Denon AVR. Reliability still a bit unsure.

First one, 2 weeks ago, got through the setup and then went defective, no display. Thought it was a fluke so specced one in for a different client. Today was last day, or supposed to be, got it wired up went through the setup with no problem, then wham, went into protection mode, kept shutting down. I am sticking with Yamaha.
