While doing paperwork last night I came across an [email protected] charge in the month of Jan. To my surprise, the charge total actually matched what was on the invoice!!

Way to go [email protected]! Seems you have mastered the art of lining up charges with totals printed on invoices. Your competitors have done this for what, decades?

You've been the lone maverick to sensible accounting/paperwork an I for one salute you for stepping into the 19th century.

Isn't that a company that was involved in this industry at one time?

I wonder, are they the company I recently emailed about their website? I think it was.

I was looking for the amount of a recent invoice and my desk is way too messy for me to find it easily, so I figured I'd look online, as I keep getting emails from them touting my ability to see my purchases on line.

So I go there and every purchase is listed. Wait -- no, only the balance after I pay is listed. The invoice amount is not there! To see an invoice amount, I have to open a pdf of that day's invoice... so sorting through, say, ten invoices of around a hundred bucks to find the right one means opening up to ten pdfs.

How stupid is it to list all transactions and never show a single transaction amount, only the balance after payment? This would only be useful if I were the kind of customer they hate -- one who keeps an open balance forever. Sheesh!

Makes me think their main accounting person knows Wells. AND Fargo. In person!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Their stupid billing system forced us to do indepth audits of our CC transaction records against their invoices. It was, and still is, a complete disaster.

Likewise here. We rarely buy from them now. I don't take people losing jobs lightly but the entire accounting dept there should be scraped. Hire a few 10th grade interns and let them develop a sensible system.

This was a few RA2 color change kits totaling $15-ish. When I saw the invoice match the charged amount, I was truly stunned. The feeling was something like hitting a $1 scratch-off for $100.
