I have a part number from Homeworks QS called a QSE-CI-DMX and would like to integrate this to control some LED Strip Lights in both color and intensity driven from the audio source in the room.  Does anyone have any experience doing this, or know of this being done?  TIA

Whats the questions? Do you want to use this inside of a homeworks systems or stand alone? 3rd party controller or just ambient sound?

I have used similar controllers integrated with RTI but never as part of a lighting system.

Would like to take the intensity of the volume and represent that with ether a serial interface or DMX, whichever is more cost effective.  Looking to use Led Strips in 1ft increments to show volume levels in realtime.

So the lutron is driving the LED strips? Or they are DMX enabled LEDs, and you want the lutron to control them via DMX?
There is probably a standalone DJ system that could do what you want.

We are looking at nuleds, they have a controller, and slave controllers that can be attached to the same control wire, All I have to do is figure out how we are going to activate each segment via the SPL in the room.

Did you have success?
I want to do the same. Can one QSE-CI-DMX control three of this?

And about the audio sensitivity? is it possible?
Thanks

You may consider using an Arduino controller and some LED strip Tape lights.

Not sure how you are going to analyze and break the audio spectrum and add that to a Lutron controller to create DMX levels.

Found this from
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
