im trying to control a STR-DN1010 w a RP1 and a T2B IR only. none of my discretes work? i can turn power on from inputs commands but cant find a discrete power off? tried a input delay and power work around but nothing?? and its the codes from mega list 21 which i use all the time

Why not......Input command....delay.....pwr?? Your delay may not be long enough

If your input command always turns on then that will make sure the unit is on and the power will turn it off.

Same work around as the play command on a dvd player

tried that and doesnt work?? its a sytem power off activity w a bd turnig off, and the receiver? i tried putting those firsrt and after bd w a delay. ill keep trying?

use the Sony system off command that should work for everything but the BD player. I'm Sure its in the command library.

is the HDMI control turned on?  it could be that the bd player is affecting your power macro.

so you can't get any pwr command to work? besides the input command turning it on? Can you learn the pwr with the IR PRO?



If you can't get anything to work you'll have to use flags

actually got ONE standby code to work!!! my dam test button wasnt in standalone. i must of effed it up somehow uurrrggghhhhhh

thanx guys much appreciated. but its wired i found only one discrete power off code? and another thing that is strange is all discrete power on commands for the sony blu ray player turn on the sony avr?? and its NOT a toggle i checked.....must be same hex?

as mentioned in my last post, is HDMI control turned on?   that would cause the issues you are having.
