I have read the few topics here and on yahoo group about making a MX3000 work as a MT1000. I got the MXRF file from the file section over there, and picked the one that matches the ID I want to use in the mx3000 editor (ID 20). I have a CNRFGWA-418 (which i'm already using for a WPR48), and I added a MT-1000 (ID 20) to it in simpl. I put some signals on the first few joins that correspond to the buttons in the 3000 editor program to test. Loaded both systems and I get nothing in debugger. Seems like theyre not talking.

Basically I have the 3000 laying around the house, and its not worth anything selling it, so I figured i'd give this a try. Anyone remember how to do this? I saw some mention about dropping in a ST-1550 panel, but I cant add that on a 418 gateway. I also read that it will work with a 418 gway so im a bit confused (and I dont have a regular CNRFGWA to try it out).

Try posting this in the Crestron section. [Link: remotecentral.com]
Have not done that combo in a while, so I don't recall how to do it. You might try importing in a MT-500, which was a Pronto TSU-7000 I think. That worked at 418.

I was gonna put it there but figured a better chance here, and it covers a few brands.

I believe the MT-1000 is 418, since simpl let me add one to the gateway.
