Since you're only using the cable box remotes...and depending on the model, their IR output is usually crazy strong, you can put the ATV behind the set and likely bounce off the wall/ceiling just fine as mentioned above.

You can also use the cable box remote to control the ATV for a pseudo universal remote solution by 'teaching' the ATV from the cable remote set to a secondary function such as Aux. No extra parts required, works 100%.

The remote only has buttons for "tv" or "cable"

The VGS is a wired reciver, not a wired emitter

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

1 - Three terminal "VGS" block for wired

Thanks all....most likely for the first one will try to mount the atv to the back edge.
On the second project, will most likely go the connecting block route.

Connections for 1 receiver, 2 emitters, 1 power supply. You already have the snap IR receiver, power supply and emitter specified? Only need to add one additional emitter. No cut, no strip, all 3.5mm and ready to go.
